I work in the photojournalistic style, that means I record your memories without intruding on them. I reflect your style without imposing my own. I photograph in a way that not only chronicles what you’re doing, but captures what you’re feeling.
It’s my goal to tell the story of your day – the entire day. From your best friend giving you a hug to a mother shedding a tear or a father congratulating a son, I record the moments and the milestones alike through a combination of creative, candid photos and structured group shots.
Using different film types, lenses and cameras, coupled with a creative eye for composition and lighting, I strive to capture the thrill of the day – and the sublime beauty of the moment.
The result is no mere album of photographs. In equal parts a chronicle of events and mosaic of memories, it is a document as unique as you are.
Moreover, the way I capture the moment frees you to live it. Unlike traditional wedding photographers who subject you to a standard repertoire of shots, I won’t lock you and your wedding party in the church for hours while running through a frayed list of “top seller” poses.
The way I see it, if you’re gracious enough to invite me to your wedding, I should be considerate enough not to disturb it.
Trust me to tell the story without becoming the story, to chronicle events without manipulating them, and to document your day without dominating it.
You focus on the moment. And let me be your eyes.
