WEDDING DAY

Getting Ready

Expect me to arrive approximately one-half hour before the bride and groom. My first shots will chronicle their arrival. Customarily, I’ll photograph the bride and bridesmaids as they prepare for the ceremony, and if requested I can shoot the groom as well. For the most part, these shots will be candid; after all, you have work to do.

Semi-Formal

I shoot semi-formal photographs in the editorial style, with just the bride and groom. This will be your own private photo shoot, held in a predetermined location. Different film types, lighting techniques, and unique compositions will be combined to produce formal yet non-traditional photographs that caputre the essence of your wedding (without evoking your grandmother’s).

Group Shots

I will set up a location, indoors or out, for group photographs. Based on the shot list we plan together, these will move along quickly and efficiently, taking a half-hour to 45 minutes before the ceremony – not the four or five hours a traditional photographer would demand.

Ceremony

I’ll be everywhere but in your face. Using the best equipment available, I will get discreet shots during the ceremony – unobtrusively, quietly, without a flash, and from a distance. (Try asking a traditional wedding photographer to do that.)
